I finally ran today! and it didn't really hurt! I felt my ankle once, and that's because we were momentarily running on a slanted road, so we got back on the sidewalk! I've missed running, it's weird!

I've swam, biked, & hiked since I last ran but just haven't really kept track of it.

I ran again today! This time, my shin started hurting, but only after 50 minutes! It was a beautiful day to run!

I left my house thinking I would go on a simple run, just to the JCC. Turns out the sidewalk by Fort Douglas is practically non existant because all of the snow from the perfectly plowed roads is piled on them. I trudged along thinking I was bound to find cement somewhere. A guy pulled over (note that there is no sholder, he is blocking the lane and ignoring angry honking drivers!) to tell me that I was crazy for running in shorts (yes, I supose it was a bit odd I was in shorts) and that I should be wearing running boots (whatever those are). Then he held up a business card and asked me if I knew where the psych ward was. No... I don't... I told him where I thought it could be. Then he asked me if I go to school at the U. I told him I was in high school and he said, " Oh! Really? Sorry... you look older... I'm not flirting, don't worry!... so you don't know where the place...?"

After that I decided to run up through Fort Douglas and try to reach the JCC that way, but there's construction at the hospital so it didn't go all of the way through so I had to double back and run by Moran, then I crossed the street, ran to the corner and decided that I was as close as I was going to get. Running back along the sidewalk by the tracks, I discovered that the sidewalk ends! So I had to double back again and cross by Moran, go back up the stairs behind it, through Fort Douglas, then I over shot Legacy Bridge by a bit and had to do a little loop to get to it. Turns out the sidewalk there ends too so I ended up running across the bridge and through the parking lots, then ended up by the round about, which doesn't have a cross walk, and had to go farther down, then cross, then I finally got toGuardsman, where my left shin started hurting. It was a lot of thinking for an hour of running, but it was a lot of fun!
